Halloween pictures finally

If you didn't already know, Aiden loves tractors. When he sees a tractor he can tell you if it's a front loader, or an excavator, power roller, skid steer, forklift, backhoe... he knows them all! So naturally for halloween I thought he would love to be a farmer driving a tractor. We talked about it all week and he was super excited. Whenever we mentioned halloween he told us about his tractor costume. Well we finally got it made and then he didn't want to wear it! Silly boy. He wouldn't keep the bandana on around his neck either. We had to use a little bribery to get him to keep it on for very long. Is that bad? Atleast I got a few pictures of him wearing his cute John Deere Tractor!

Pictures

My friend Meghan MacAskill gave me a photo shoot of Austin as a baby shower gift. It was so great we didn't have to go anywhere, she just came to our house to take them. I love the pictures! She did such a great job! Here are just a few of the ones I love. (oh and the pictures from the previous post about Aiden were taken by her as well) These were taken when Austin was 2 1/2 weeks old.

October Catch Up!

I'm so behind on blogging! October has flown by so fast! I can't believe it has been 5 weeks now since our little Austin was born! Where has the time gone? Well here's what we have been up to. Bryan had a birthday! We didn't do much to celebrate this year considering Austin was only 4 days old. We had brownies and ice cream on his birthday, and his parents came down for the weekend and brought a cake. It was really fun to have Nana and Poppa here. He also got a Wii with birthday and bonus money from work(he got a bonus for passing all four of his CPA exams within the first year).

Then my parents came for two weeks! Unfortunately as I was downloading the pictures onto the computer, the computer disk became full and didn't finish copying them, and they were already deleted from the camera! So almost all of the pictures from when my parents were here are gone, including all of the pictures from Austins blessing!! I'm so sad!!

It was so nice to have my parents here. They were a huge help. They took Aiden for walks, and played with him, kept the house clean, and let me get some rest. Most of the time we spent at home, but we did manage to get out a do a few fun things. (Note: all the pictures from these events were deleted) We went to the pumpkin patch, out for dinner, went on walks, played outside, and went to the beach at Santa Cruz. I did happen to get one picture from the beach (see above)
We had Austin's baby blessing on the 25th of October. It was a beautiful blessing! It was so great to have so many family members there to support us. We had a dinner afterwards at Bryan's parents new home. The first official dinner event at the new house and all the pictures from it are gone! So sad! You will just have to image how wonderful it was! Here are just a few more pictures from the month. Aiden has been a good big brother. I love it when he asks to hold him and gives him kisses. He seems to be adjusting well and is usually pretty gentle with Austin.

Aiden is 2!!

It's hard to believe that Aiden is already 2! Where has the time gone? He is such a good boy and brings so much joy to our family. He is tons of fun and is such a good big brother. His favorite things at 2: books and tractors/trucks...especially when they are combined! (It's hard to believe Aiden was ever as small as Austin.)
