More pictures from the Weekend

Aiden and Jack had fun playing together for the last time (well not the last but it won't be quite the same now that we aren't living in the same house). Aunt Jen bought the boys these cute outfits... thanks Jen!

We Will Miss It!

Bryan and I moved over the weekend. It was sad to leave our cute little home. 3 1/2 years ago we bought this house with Bryan's brother, fixed it up, and lived in it while we attended BYU. Now that we have all graduated it's time to sale the house and move on.

Graduation

We did it! We finally graduated from college! Bryan's parents and sister Jen came for graduation and then helped us move. It was so great to have them here! Graduation was a lot of fun, however going to two ceremonies made for a long day! We appreciate everyone coming. (Bryan's brother Jared also graduated)

Moving

Yes it's true we are moving. Bryan and I both graduate on Friday and then we are out of here! We are excited to be moving on but a little sad to be leaving our ward, our friends and family, our house, and the great BYU. We have really enjoyed our time here. It's pretty crazy to think that just 4 years ago Bryan and I met one early Provo morning on our way up to campus, the first day of winter semester. Oh the memories! Where we are moving you ask... well eventually to San Jose. Bryan signed an offer with Deloitte, one of the big four accounting firms. He did an intership for them last winter and really enjoyed it. He's planning to start with them in August. In the meantime we are going to Modesto, CA. Bryan will be doing construction work for his dad and Uncle, and I will be teaching a few piano lessons. We plan to also take time to visit family, go camping and have some fun before the real job begins. Once Bryan starts his job we are not going to have much vacation time during the summer since July and August is their busy season. So that's whats going on with us.
Oh and I just thought I'd leave you with a picture of our sweet little boy.

Last Visits for Awhile

Since we are moving soon we're trying to say all our goodbyes and see everyone before we leave. On Sunday we had my cousins Josh and Alyssa over for dinner. They are both going to BYU right now. It was so fun to see them! They are both finishing finals this week. I definitely do not miss those! Thanks Josh for letting us interrogate you about your girlfriend! She sounds great!

We had my friend Kira and her friend Austin over tonight for dinner. It's so great to have friends from home living here. Too bad we didn't get to spend more time together! Kira already graduated and is working, Austin is going to BYU and works at the MTC. Thanks for the great time tonight and for entertaining Aiden... he sure loved you guys!

We had a lot of fun watching Jack the other night. Jack is Aiden's cousin that lives upstairs. Jack and Aiden just so happened to have the same PJs, so we had to take some pictures. It has been so much fun living so close to Jared, Cindy and Jack! We are really going to miss being so close. I can't believe we are moving in a little over a week!

Modern Art

Bryan had to do a project for his creativity class that related to something they had studied. He chose to do a Modern Art painting. I have to say, I was quite impressed with the finished product. The picture really doesn't do it justice. He used several layers of spray paint and torn masking tape to come up with the final product. I think he might have discovered a new hobbie, or maybe a new profession! Not likely... but you never know. :)

Thank you, thank you!!

Sleep at last!! I'm ecstatic to tell you that all of your wonderful ideas worked! Aiden is sleeping so much better! The first night was a little rough. He woke up only an hour after laying him down. At first we waited 5 minutes then went in and calmed him down and left again. He cried for a few more minutes and then fell asleep. He woke up again like 30 minutes later cried for 4 minutes and then went back to sleep. He woke up another 30 minutes later and cried for only a couple minutes and put himself back to sleep. He woke up a couple more times and then finally gave in and slept for 4 hours straight! The next time he woke up I fed him and then he slept for another 3 hours. The next night he slept for 6 hours straight right off the bat. When he woke up I got up to feed him and by the time I got to his room he had fallen back asleep, so I went back to bed. The next time he woke up was 4 hours later! I couldn't believe it... 10 hours without eating!! That rice cereal before bed must be the secret! The next night he slept 7 hours straight and fell back asleep for 3 more hours before getting up to eat. Last night he slept 8 hours straight, ate and then went back to bed for 2 more hours! I am loving this. At first it was really hard to let him cry... 5 minutes felt like an eternity, and it still does! I just wanted to go in and rescue him, but I realized that as long as all of his needs were met, that he was just fine. He was just tired and wanted to be held all night like he was when he was sick.

Lately we find him all the way up the top corner of his crib with his head smashed against the bumper. His crib is elevated so he somehow scoots himself up hill to the corner. It's his favorite place! I think he likes to be snuggled up next to it, it gives him comfort. We are constantly moving him because we are worried he won't be able to breathe!! Silly boy! At least he is sleeping now. Now we just need to sleep. We still wake up and check on him all the time. But we are definitely getting more sleep than we were... so Thank you so much for your help!

Help!! We're Exhausted!

Aiden is not sleeping well at night. Last night he woke up 10 or more times. I think that was partly to do with the fact that he hasn't been feeling well but he still tends to wake up quite a bit in the night and can't seem to put himself back to sleep. Kelsey and Lyza gave me some great suggestions. I would love to hear more of your great ideas!! Any suggestions??

5 Months Old!

Aiden is 5 months old today!! As you can tell from his pictures he is feeling much better! When we went to the doctor yesterday we found out he now weighs 17 lbs. 3 oz. That's 10 lbs. more than when he was born. It's hard to believe it has already been 5 months, it has gone so fast!

A Rough Couple of Days

Teething, a cold, gassy tummy... what else could go wrong with my poor little guy? I thought he had it bad enough, and then he got another owie on his foot. As I was holding him and getting something out of the microwave his foot brushed against a pan on the stove and got burned! I felt so bad!! He has been a tough little guy through it all and the doctor says he's going to be just fine!! He even got a cool little sock to put over his foot so he won't play with his burn until it heals. He seems quite a bit happier today so hopefully he'll be all better soon.
