catch up!
So much has happened the past couple weeks I guess I need to play catch up! The day after our fun at the beach, Bryan headed to Arizona for 5 days to go to a job training. So Aiden and I decided to head to Modesto for a couple of days. We had a great time! Aiden was so excited to see Nana and Poppa, Jack, Jared, and Cindy. He even got to go to school and see the first graders! (My mother-in-law teaches first grade) I thought he would want to run around the classroom but he did really well at staying on my lap. He thought it was so great to have other kids to watch and talk to. On Wednesday we stopped by to see Jack, Cindy and Jared before we left to go home.
It was a short trip, but it was so nice to see everyone and break up the time while Bryan was gone.
Wednesday night my friend Meagan invited all the lonely wives over for a girls night out. We had an amazing dinner, ate lots of junk food, watched a chick flick and had a great time! She let Aiden sleep in her daughter's crib, and her daughter slept in her bed. Thanks Meagan we had so much fun!
Bryan got home Thursday night. Aiden and I were so excited! Aiden had been saying, "Daddy, dadda" all day. Many times he would stand by the door saying it over and over again. It was so cute but so sad!! We love Daddy!!
On Friday we had a visitor! Aunt Jen came to visit! We spent Friday afternoon playing around the house. Aiden loved coloring with Jen, building towers with the blocks, watching Thomas the train on her computer, walking down to the mail box, etc. That night Jen treated us to dinner at PFChangs. Aiden acted like we hadn't fed him all day! On Saturday we headed to The Great Mall. This place is huge and has tons of outlet stores! We went to The Children's Place outlet, Old Navy outlet, The Gap Outlet, and Banana Republic outlet. All the stores were having huge sales! Aiden got these cute pajamas for a steal! After our day at the mall we came back and had dinner and then said our goodbyes. Thanks Jen for everything! We LOVE having you come!!Tractor rides still to come!

Tractor Rides!
So last Sunday after church we made the last minute decision to go to Modesto to look at investment properties. We have decided that we are probably never going to be able to afford anything in a decent location here, so we decided to buy a house and rent it. Since Monday was a holiday it was the perfect opportunity to go house hunting. We looked at so many houses and found a couple that we really liked and we made an offer! I guess we will see what happens. So while we were there of course we had to go out to The Place and see the progress that has been made on the house. It's coming right along! While we were there Poppa got the tractor out and gave the boys a ride! Aiden loved it for the most part! Thanks for the tractor rides Poppa and thanks Nana for babysitting while we looked at houses!

Beautiful Day at Carmel Beach!
We had so much fun today at the gorgeous Carmel beach! We were planning to go to Santa Cruz but Aiden fell asleep right before we got there so we decided to continue driving down to Monterey and Carmel so that he could have a little nap. The weather was unbelievable! 70 degrees, sunny and beautiful!! We decided we definitely need to do this more often considering we live so close to the ocean! Come and visit and we will take you with us! Aiden had a great time playing in the sand, running around chasing the dogs, and making lots of friends. Here's a video of him running around.
Another great thing I love about Carmel is the beautiful exotic homes. Each home goes by its own name instead of having a house number. Here are a just a couple of the adorable homes. The one on the left is for sale for $3 million dollars!! Yikes!

Hair Cut!
While I loved his frohawk it was getting a little long and if it wasn't styled his hair was a mess! So we decided it was time for a haircut!
This is before -

He just looks so handsome! I love the way it turned out!
