I Love to See The Temple

During the past few nights as I have sat down to rock Aiden before bed, he says to me, "temple," "temple". This is his request to sing the temple song. How adorable is that! If I am singing something else, he will say, "temple," "temple". So I stop and we sing the temple song instead. I am really impressed with how fast he has caught on to the lyrics. As we start to sing, "I love to see the ______" he will jump in and finish the phrase, "temple." We then continue, "I'm going their some _____" he jumps in and says, "day." That's all he's figured out so far. It's so exciting to watch him learn and become more independent. He already has a favorite bedtime song. Missing my Hubby!

I am now realizing what it's like to be the wife of an tax accountant. Bryan has been working until midnight almost every night (except Sunday) for the past couple of weeks! We are really missing him, but we are grateful that he has a good job. I don't know how he keeps going! At least he doesn't have to work on Sunday! He'll probably continue to be this busy until after April 15th. Then hopefully it will slow down a bit!

Our Dear Grandma Carpenter

Our sweet Grandma Carpenter passed away last weekend. Oh how we miss her! She is the sweetest, most wonderful person! We attended her funeral on Saturday. Everything was perfect just as Grandma deserves. We are so grateful to know of the Plan of Salvation and that Grandma is now with her beloved eternal companion.

My Birthday!

I had a great birthday on Sunday! We decided last minute to invite some friends from church to come over for dessert and games. Bryan made Cookie Dough Dessert and Mint Cookie Ice Cream Dessert! Yum!! We had a great time! I got lots of calls from family too. Bryan got me a beautiful mirror and Eric and Sheree sent me a package! They gave me these fun popcicle forms to make popcicles! I'm so excited! Thanks everyone for making it a great day!
