Who is smarter? probably him, he is so smart and remembers everything! When it comes to music and sewing I probably know more.
Who does the laundry? We both do. Lately it's been me because Bryan is so busy with school now.

Who does the dishes? We take turns or do them together sometimes. He's a great helper around the house!

Bryan is such a great husband and father!! He works incredibly hard in everything he does. He is so smart, and so talented, a great speaker, quite the handy man (he has remodeled our house and it looks great!) awesome athlete, straight A student, so handsome :) , so caring about others, an awesome missionary... Okay I'll stop bragging. Anyway I love him so much and I just think he is the greatest!!

Tagged by Lyza- 8 Things About Aiden

1. Aiden was born 12 days early. It was my third time going to the hospital... I guess that the third time is the charm because that's when he was finally born!

2. Aiden rolled over at only 6 weeks old! He was really mad and was arching his back and flailing his arms, so he had no idea what he was doing.

3. Aiden loves to sit up and stand. If he is lying down at all he trys to do sit ups, and when he is sitting he pushes his legs out so he can stand. He has to be up and out so he can see everything that is going on.

4. Aiden loves it when his dad sings and reads stories to him. He tries to sing and talk along with his dad. It's really cute!

5. Movement always seems to put Aiden asleep. Anytime we go for walks, Aiden falls asleep in the stroller, and anytime we are in the car he falls asleep in his carseat.

6. Aiden has become a huge fan of his bath time. As a newborn he hated it, now he absolutely loves it! He kicks and plays and splashes water all over mom! Which is easy to do because we do not currently have a bath tub and so we fill the bottom of the shower which is not very deep.

7. Aiden had a lot of dark hair when he was born. Now he has lost quite a bit of it, and has extremely blonde hair coming in.

8. Aiden loves to be talked and sung to. He laughs when you play peek a boo with him. He is a smiley happy boy (most of the time :)

We are so happy and blessed to have Aiden as part of our family. He is such a sweet and special little boy! We love him so much!

Aiden and his stuffed animals

Aiden already has so many stuffed animals. I decided it would be fun to take some pictures of him with all his cozy friends. Here are a couple that I thought were really cute.

How can one little boy already have so many stuffed animals? He must have lots of people who love him!

Happy Valentine's Day...

... or late Valentines Day I should say. Bryan and I finally celebrated Valentines day over the weekend. Feburary 14th was kind of a busy day for us so we postponed it. Bryan spent most of the day at school in class and then had to take a midterm that afternoon. After he got home we left for California where we spent the weekend with Bryan's family, helping my inlaws move. So on Friday night we went to one of our favorite restaurants, Red Robin, to celebrate. (not the most romantic place, but sure does taste good!)

my two favorite guys! aren't they cute!

Aiden fell asleep during dinner. He was so tired!

My 6th grade class

During last summer I did my student teaching in a 1st grade and a 6th grade class. I promised my sixth graders I would come back and visit them after I had my baby. So Bryan, Aiden and I made the trip to West Jordan to pay my class a visit. It was so much fun to see them! I love my crazy 6th graders.

Tummy time

So much fun!!

Tummy time is usually not Aiden's favorite time of day. He wants to be up so he can see everything that is going on. However we have found that he lasts a lot longer when he is on his changing table probably because he can see more than when he is on the floor.

It's Official...

I'm finally done with school!! After 4 1/2 years of hard work and many late nights, I am finally done!! Don't get me wrong, I love school. I love learning and growing. I feel like the education I have recieved will help me the rest of my life. Student teaching was an awesome experience and my music minor classes really helped me to strengthen and develop my talents. But it is so nice to be done! I was pretty much finished with everything by the end of last semester except for this one independent study course that I started a year ago when we were in San Jose. I know you would have thought I would have had it done before now, which most of it was except for the last lesson and the final. Anyway I finally buckeled down and took the final last Tuesday and I did well enough to pass the class. Hooray, I'm finished!

Growing so Fast!

My visiting teaching companion came over the other day with her son Hector. Hector is 5 days older than Aiden. I didn't realize how big Aiden is until we sat them next to each other on the couch. Aiden looks huge compared to him. He is growing way too fast.

Aiden is 3 months old!

I can't believe that Aiden is already 3 months. Where has the time gone? In some ways it feels like it has been forever since the time I was in the hospital delivering this beautiful baby boy; other ways it feels like it was just yesterday. This past week has really been a lot of fun. Aiden is talking and smiling more and more. After we got up this morning we went in Aiden's room to check on him and he was wide awake just talking and looking around. It was so cute!
